May is Bike Month, and FreeWheels is busy! Over 230 4th and 5th grade students have been learning safety skills and how to ride safely in their neighborhoods through the BLAST program, with tons of help from BikeWalkKC, The Injury Free Coalition, Communities in Schools, The Brain Injury Association of Kansas and others.
All 230 students have the chance to win the bikes we've been using and hone their skills at Bike Rodeos held at the schools, as well as our totally awesome Waterway Park Bike Festival and Health Fair on May 18!
